Everson lorieeverson@bellsouth.net Published: The Observer May 27 2004 Tommy Titshaw ROCHELLE -- Funeral services for Tommy Titshaw, 86, of Rochelle will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2004, in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. John Pate and the Rev. Jim Tillery will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pitts Cemetery. Mr. Titshaw passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. Born Nov. 9, 1917, he was a native of Wilcox County. Mr. Titshaw was the son of the late Roy Titshaw and Lillie Harvey Titshaw. He was a retired civil service employee at Robins in the electronic repairs department and was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member and deacon of the First Avenue Baptist Church, was a member of the Rochelle Masonic Lodge #190, where he received his 50-year pin in 2000, and was a volunteer with the Pineview Health Care weekly sing-a- long group. He was a former vice president and general manager of the Cherokee Phone Company in Rochelle. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Titshaw of Rochelle; son, Jerry (Mary Sue) Titshaw of Hampton, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today, May 26, 2004, in the funeral home. Frazier & Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of the arrangements.
